Meet the incredible individuals who champion our cause and help us reach a wider audience with their unwavering support.
I have been aware of Purple Heart Wishes and the work they do in making dreams become a reality. The work they have done, and the achievements they have made, have inspired me to want to help them, which is why, when I was asked, I didn’t hesitate to become its patron.
As a local charity, you can clearly see where the money raised is going and the impact it’s making. I hope that, by joining, I can use my platform to help spread the word on all the greatness they are achieving.
Sacha Lord, the night-time economy adviser for Greater Manchester, has become the patron of the Purple Heart Wishes charity which enables adults with a terminal illness to fulfil special wishes with their families and friends.

Cancer is close to all our hearts, almost everyone in the world has been affected by it. 1 in 3 adults will develop some form of cancer in their lifetime. There are many charities out there, that are helping fight the battle against cancer and guide people through this tough time in their life. As well as these charities, there are hospices and other community-based organisations that help increase the quality of life for people that are sadly affected by this horrible disease.

When it comes to the end of your life charities like Purple Heart Wishes help you make the most of your last days and whilst it is quite a macabre time for anyone in this situation, charities like these are there to give you the best possible time, with whatever time you have left and create special memories.
We have both personally been touched recently by the passing of one of our best mates Garf who sadly left us last year at the young age of 35, he was the most amazing guy and was taken from us way too soon.
When the founders of Purple Heart Wishes Sue and Leigh approached us about being Patrons for Purple Heart Wishes we knew that this was something we would love to get involved with.
Through our partnership, we will strive to raise awareness and fundraise for this great cause and help make this end-of-life experience the best and brightest it can be in the Manchester area and beyond.
Solardo are a Manchester-based DJ and production duo made up of Mark Richards and James Eliot, known for their energetic blend of tech house, house, and techno. Rising from the UK’s underground scene in the mid-2010s, they’ve become a staple on the global club and festival circuit, performing at major events like Creamfields, Tomorrowland, and Glastonbury.
