Be a volunteer

We are looking for volunteers to join our team. We need people who are friends and supporters of Purple Heart Wishes, and who can be the face of the charity in their communities.

Give your time, make a difference, and be part of our community of passionate, like-minded people.

Every wish we grant is made possible by incredible volunteers like you. Whether you’re volunteering at our event kiosks or supporting behind the scenes, every hour you give helps us grant wishes and bring comfort, joy, and unforgettable moments to adults facing a terminal illness

Volunteering Wythenshawe Park Festival.

Festival helper

I had the absolute pleasure of spending the day volunteering with Purple Heart Wishes at the Wythenshawe Park Festival. The day itself was filled with sunshine, music, and community spirit. I helped out on the charity stall, chatting with festival-goers about the difference a wish can make, and raising awareness about the charity’s mission. It was heart-warming to see how many people were keen to support, ask questions, and find out how they could help.

For me, the experience was a small but powerful reminder of just how much impact giving your time can have. It’s not just about fundraising (although that’s so important!), it’s about connecting with people, sharing stories, and spreading a message of hope. I left the festival feeling inspired, grateful, and very proud to have been part of Purple Heart Wishes’ work for the day.

If you’ve ever thought about volunteering, I can’t recommend it enough. You get to meet wonderful people, be part of something bigger, and help create magical moments for adults going through some of the toughest times of their lives.

Volunteering at Man City Football

Football Kiosk Helper

Volunteering at the MCFC kiosk was such a fun and rewarding experience. The buzz of match day, the non-stop chatter, and the steady flow of fans kept the energy high  and the pints pouring!

What made it even more special was being part of a team of volunteers who were all there for the same reason: to give back. We supported each other through the busy rushes and shared plenty of laughs along the way.

It’s amazing to think that something as simple as serving drinks can help raise vital funds for a cause that means so much. I left that day feeling tired but proud knowing we’d made a real impact, pint by pint.

Volunteering at Parklife Festival

Festival Kiosk

Volunteering at the Parklife Festival was an unforgettable experience. The energy and enthusiasm of the crowd were contagious, and it was rewarding to see how our efforts contributed to the success of the event.

Working alongside other passionate volunteers, I felt a strong sense of community and purpose. It's amazing to know that our work helps bring joy and support to those in need.
