Wish stories

The wish gave us the chance to step away from everything, have some much-needed rest, laugh together and simply enjoy being a family. We made such special memories that we will treasure forever.

The thought and kindness that went into organising our trip was incredible, and we are so grateful for the opportunity to experience such a beautiful place together.

Thank you, team Purple Heart Wishes, for giving our family some much-needed time to make happy memories together. It truly meant the world to us.

Allan has motor neurone disease. He was diagnosed two years ago and has seen a rapid deterioration.

His wish was to visit the Harry Potter Studios as he has been a fan since the beginning. I contacted Purple Heart Wishes who amazingly granted his wish and even booked us a night at the lovely Shendish Manor Hotel nearby. We really enjoyed the time together as a family and created lots of memories.

My bucket list is predominantly made up of memories to make with my husband and 2 children, 5 and 3. It’s got places to visit, holidays and it also had camping. But I really don’t like camping!

Purple Heart Wishes fulfilled this dream with a Glamping stay at Moor Farm, Featherdown Farms. It was everything and more. No television, no electricity but the sound of laughter. The hosts were fantastic and the highlight was without doubt the pizza evening- the kids didn’t need encouragement to get stuck in. Lucas loved sleeping in the cupboard bed and both of them running into the patch of woodland to play letting their imaginations run wild.

Our cups were all topped up and memories made - thank you so much.
