Meet the incredible team members who manage our charity.

Leigh Holmes

Leigh Holmes
Founder
Leigh, co-founder of Purple Heart Wishes, is an integral part of our organisation. Inspired by her sister Lyndsey, she played a vital role in establishing the charity. Beyond her charitable work, Leigh is a talented DJ known as LilRockit, performing at renowned venues like Creamfields and Amnesia. In the early days of Purple Heart Wishes, Leigh was a wish granter, dedicating herself to bringing joy and fulfilling the dreams of those we support. As the charity grew, Leigh transitioned into an advisor and volunteer, offering her expertise and assistance whenever needed. Her commitment centres on providing support to individuals who, like her sister Lyndsey, face challenges in leading the lives they deserve. Above all, Leigh's primary focus is honouring and preserving Lyndsey's memory, ensuring she is never forgotten. Her dedication, creativity, and profound love for her sister have made her an indispensable force within our little charity.

Mark Kelly ✨

Mark Kelly ✨
Wish Grantor
Meet Mark, our Wish Granter. Mark joined the charity in 2021, the timing was crucial as he stepped in to help manage the overwhelming influx of wish applications following the onset of the pandemic. Mark's retired banking background made him a perfect fit as the charity expanded, his dedication grew, and he transitioned into a position to better support the increasing demand and ensure the smooth running of Purple Heart Wishes. One of the privileges Mark cherishes is the opportunity to connect with individuals facing terminal illnesses and their families. Through these meaningful relationships, he works diligently to plan and organise incredible trips and activities to provide cherished memories for the recipients. Mark's role as a Wish Granter allows him to make a lasting impact on their lives. Sue, the charity's founder, greatly relies on Mark as her right-hand man. He plays a pivotal role in effectively managing its operations. Mark is a valuable member of the Team.
