It’s famous for its inclusive atmosphere, unbeatable route-side entertainment and warm Geordie welcome, not to mention the millions of pounds raised each year for worthy causes. Great North Run magic can be hard to understand – until you’ve experienced it for yourself. We have 5 charity places to allocate, will you take on the challenge and run for Purple Heart Wishes in 2026?
