Festive Footsteps for a Cause: Hyde Santa Dash Raises Funds for Purple Heart Wishes

The streets of Hyde came alive with festive cheer as runners and walkers took part in the Santa Dash in support of Purple Heart Wishes. Organised with EweMove, the event brought the community together to raise vital funds and create meaningful memories for adults living with terminal illness.

In July 2025, two extraordinary young men, Milo Young and Gabriel Maddison, completed an incredible challenge for Purple Heart Wishes: running the full length of England—630 km from Berwick-upon-Tweed to Brighton—in just 15 days. That’s 15 marathons in 15 days.
